B. Amir & Associates was established in the year 1954 with Mr. Amir Chand Chugh as a sole proprietor. The principle line of business of the organization was supply, installation, testing and commissioning of light as well as heavy duty electrical generation, transmission, control installation and motor control centers.

The rapid pace of development in the country especially in the capital, New Delhi, provided the necessary boost to the operations of the company. The commitments of the company, and the person behind it, soon resulted in expansion from a one man show to an organization with over 200 blue as well white collar personal in it's stable. The axioms of quality, good workmanship, honouring time schedules and competitive rates were the commandments that B. Amir & Associates conducted its operations on. Unfortunately the man behind the whole show Mr. Amir Chand Chugh suffered a stroke as a result of medical accident in the year 1987. This unfortunate incident made it mandatory for the induction of Mr. Rajesh Chugh, elder son and protégé of Mr. Amir Chand, pursuing his master's degree in law, into the management echelons. Mr. Sumeet Chugh, youngest son and a commerce graduate, also joined the group as a management trainee. This era witnessed the rapid expansion and induction of modern management principals in the organization. To aid this expansion and to have a presence in the other commercial and technical fields, other associates were also inducted for the purpose.

Mr. Amir Chand Chugh who left this world and us on 18th April 2000, cherished a dream to see his legacy grow into a strong corporate entity. Hence to fulfill his dream, attempts towards making this group into a multi activity and a financially strong conglomerate a total professional approach and modern management techniques are being adopted
